2. How the App Works

McPack Converter uses Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF) to handle files securely:

• You select files using the system file picker
• File conversion happens entirely on your device
• Converted files are saved to your Downloads folder
• No files are uploaded to any server

3. Advertising

McPack Converter is a free app supported by advertisements. We use Google AdMob to display ads. These may include:

• Banner ads
• Interstitial ads (full-screen ads shown at natural breaks)
• App open ads (shown when returning to the app)

3.1 Ad Personalization & Your Choices

When you first open the app, you may be shown a consent dialog (for users in the EU/EEA/UK) where you can choose whether to allow personalized advertising.

You can also control ad personalization through your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

4. Permissions

McPack Converter requests minimal permissions:

• Internet Access: Required to display advertisements
• Network State: To check connectivity for ad loading

We do NOT request access to your storage, contacts, camera, microphone, or location.

The app stores minimal data locally on your device:

• Temporary Files: Conversion cache stored in app's private directory

This local data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
